How to Watch Movies with Friends Using Hotstar Party
If you and your friends have a Netflix account, you can sync all of your streams using the party Hotstar Chrome extension. It also includes a live chatbox where you can discuss an interesting scene from the film.
Download and install the Hotstar party extension from the Chrome Webstore to sync your Hotstar movie or show. You must then launch Hotstar and click on the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar.
This will bring up a window with the option to 'Create a Hotstar Party.' After you click that, the extension will ask you if you want complete control over the playback or if you want to leave it open to everyone. Choose your preferred option and press the 'Start the party' button. This will generate a link that you can share with friends or family members who want to attend the movie screening.
